Role: Technology Commercialisation Director
Chris Hallett is a PhD chemist and joined BP in 1989 from Johnson Matthey, where he led automotive pollution control catalyst projects. He has held a number of management roles in BP's R&D and customer technical service organisations in Petrochemicals as well as in business development. Chris has also developed and led strategic relationships for capital projects in Petrochemicals.
Following a role in technology strategy and future mobility partnerships, Chris transitioned into the Upstream in BP in 2008. Since then, Chris has played a leading role in technology commercialisation, including licensing and intellectual asset management, across the Upstream.
Chris's current role is Technology Commercialisation Director in the Business Development function of BP's Group Technology Organisation, which works across BP's Upstream, Downstream and Alternative Energy businesses.
